Live oaks in this area are spectacular. I am fascinated with their unique shapes, cloaked in gray Spanish moss and green Resurrection fern. Their size and age can be quite impressive, some living 1,000 years or more. I never grow tired of drawing and painting them, trying to capture their majesty.
